The Else Kröner-Fresenius-Center (EKFZ) at the TU Munich ties in with the university's education and training program at several points. Through the connection of the Institute for Nutritional Medicine to the Klinikum rechts der Isar (MRI) and through the professorship for Pediatric Nutritional Medicine, it is part of the TUM School of Medicine and Health.
At the same time, the EKFZ is part of the TUM School of Life Sciences with the Chairs of Nutritional Medicine and Molecular Nutritional Medicine and the Professorship of Pediatric Nutritional Medicine. Since 2023, the Else-Kröner Fresenius Center for Nutritional Medicine is part of the ZIEL.
